How You Can Help

Inmates Tithe to their church -

It's exciting to see the Lord Jesus touch the inmates in the pocketbook! Most inmates work in the prison setting. They earn between $13 and $27 a month which goes into an account against which they can sign Trust Withdrawal slips to pay for their personal toiletries and canteen items. A portion goes to the Crime Victim Fund. In some prisons, we are allowed to take a Chapel offering once a month in the form of Trust Withdrawal Slips. Below is a sample of what their giving enables:
bulletAbout 50% of regular attendees tithe their meager income.
bullet$50 per quarter goes to support a Wycliffe translator in Peru.
bullet$50 per quarter goes for the support of TEAM missionaries.
bulletOver $300 a year is being sent to sponsor native translators in Papua, New Guinea.
bulletA check for $317 was sent to the San Diego Rescue Mission to give the homeless a Thanksgiving dinner.
